All of our list-legal rapier armor is made in the U.S.A. by us, using our own patterns.
We guarantee that our doublets (with the addition of a trigger shirt with 4 layer underarm gussets or equivalent)
will pass the first test or your money back.
Return Policy
Please contact us within 3 days of receipt of the order/item.
Item must be returned in new condition within 7 days of receipt in original box and packing.
There is a restock fee of 15% or a minimum of $5 per order.
S&H costs are non-refundable and the customer is responsible for the PayPal
or Etsy fees that were charged for the transaction.

NOTE - All sales are FINAL on Items bought for photo shoots, weddings,

Hoods

This is standard Gipsy Peddler Rapier Armor in our stock colors.
It can also be used
as a heavy fighters arming cap.
This fitted coif is designed to be worn under the fencing mask
leaving the chin exposed or covering it up.
It is made of
four layers sports cloth (trigger) in the head.
The neck has a two layer collar/capelet for tucking inside a doublet.
It has a Velcro closure for easy in and out!

The hood is made of four layers of poly-cotton trigger/poplin sports cloth...
NOT heavy duck!
This is standard Gipsy Peddler SCA Rapier Armor
fabric as used in the garments.
Machine wash and dry.
This hood is made to fit snugly on a standard size
3-weapons mask.
It is tight enough that it doesn"'"t have to be sewn!
If your mask is small, you will
have to take a tuck under the chin.
If your mask is XL, you will need to open the seam under the
chin and
restitch to re-enforce when you have the proper size. |

The Gipsy Peddler gusseted rapier shirt is made of trigger sports cloth
and is to be worn with
one of our doublets (or equivalent) to make it legal for rapier in the SCA.
It has double sewn seams and 4 layers of fabric in
a quilted underarm gusset.

This shirt has buttonholes at the collar and cuffs. Your choice of silver or gold buttons.
Since this shirt is part of your armor layers, an 8x8 fabric sample will be sent
with the shirt to add to your
other armor for punch testing or drop testing.

Basic Fencing Doublets
The basic Gipsy Peddler rapier doublet is made with 3 layers of trigger sports cloth.
It requires a shirt with a 4 layer underarm gusset to be list legal for SCA rapier combat.
Shirt pictured is not included.
We guarantee this garment (with the addition of a trigger shirt with 4 layer
underarm gussets or equivalent) will pass the
first test or your money back.
A 8"x8" test piece of all layers will be provided for the first punch or drop test.

Fancy Fencing Doublets
Subtle, but classy!
These doublets are made with our stock Weston & Sussex damask in a
diamond diapering pattern
and trimmed with old gold gimp.
It is lined with 2 layers of trigger sports cloth.
There are gold metal buttons and buttonhole closures down the front which has a 4 inch overlap.
It requires a shirt with a 4 layer underarm gusset
to be list legal for SCA rapier combat.

This is upholstery fabric made of 46% polyester, 45% rayon & 9% cotton.
We recommend dry cleaning.
